Revised Edition Interpretation of CNAS-CL17 Guidance on the Application of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Competence Accreditation Criteria in the Field of Toy Testing

CNAS-CL17 Guidance on the Application of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Competence Accreditation Criteria in the Field of Toy Testing was revised by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). The two versions of the guidance (2006 version and 2015 version) were compared and interpreted. It was found that more contents and more stringent requirements were stipulated in 2015 version, such as personnel, method, equipment, quality guarantee, result report and so on. The interpretation could help the related personnel to correctly understand and regularly execute the new application guidance, and help the toy testing laboratories to enhance the quality control capabilities and establish a more efficient and perfect quality management system.
